This is one way of operating a Kato or Tomix turnout with a Single Pole Double Throw ON-ON toggle switch.
Only a SPDT switch and a two 1000 µF / 25v capacitors are needed.
The 1N4001 diode is added here to prevent the capacitors from discharching to the other turnouts.
But it also works fine without the optional diode.
