Test run of Tomix ED61 (starter set version) custom fitted with a Fleischmann 687403 6 pin DCC decoder, directly wired. Driven by DCC-EX command station via wifi with engine driver android app.

The decoder is placed at the top of the engine, the roof had to be cut away, and covered in part with a custom 3d printed part.

In hindsight I would not recommend this decoder as it’s too thick, if you can, use a flatter longer single sided decoder which can be hidden without needing to cut the roof. Otherwise it works perfectly.

Layout is very much a work in progress still.
